Family and friends of an allegedly murdered 21-year-old Tuart Hill man have watched as two men appeared in court this morning charged over his death, with one person yelling "assassin" as the accused killer was lead from the dock.

Alessio Di Risio was found dead by his father Carlo Di Risio at his Wanneroo Road home on January 24 after being stabbed multiple times.

Today, Carlo, Alesio's mother Jennifer and their daughter sat in the Perth Magistrate's Court to see 27-year-old Stephen Michael Freeman face a murder charge and 28-year-old Daniel Peter May face an accessory to murder charge laid after he allegedly helped dispose of the murder weapon.

Mr Freeman said nothing and only shook his head to indicate he had no legal representation.

A family friend of the Di Risio family yelled "assassin" as the accused man was lead back into custody.

Outside court Carlo Di Risio said his family had come to see the faces of the men charged over Alessio's death.

Jennifer Di Risio, who was visibly shaking as Mr Freeman appeared in court, said the family wanted to see justice served.

Mr Di Risio said: "We just hope that justice will be done because as far as we know this State is becoming more violent every day."

The couple's daughter said she was unhappy after hearing that a maximum penalty of 14 years jail applied for being an accessory for murder.

Neither of the accused men entered pleas today.

Mr Freeman's case was adjourned to February 24 and he was remanded in custody. Mr May's case was also adjourned to a later date and he was also remanded in custody.
